When I was younger, I aspired to be a zillion things. One included being a professional photographer, but seriously, lol.

I recall that I thought that it was like so freaking cool to be toting a DSLR about your neck snapping photos of awesome happenings around you. Plus it looked like a really cool job while I was watching America’s Next Top Model!

I wanted to try it out so bad

Unfortunately, what ultimately put me off the most was the hefty price tags on DSLRs. And well, even now I think it’s really expensive and bulky to boot!

The dream camera:
Sony Alpha NEX-F3 OR Nikon 1 V2 OR Canon EOS M

Lucky for me, my freaking awesome cousin had a spare DSLR for me to loan from, and I gladly accepted. Plus I wanted to test one out before deciding to get a DSLR or a mirrorless one (MILC) like the 3 which I mentioned above. Plus..they’re more compact.

I have to mention that I’ve been using a digital camera – a Canon Ixus all this while to take my photographs (for GlamPuss) and a DSLR is like totally different.

Anyway, I stayed up late at night reading the 60 page manual while testing out the controls, but honestly, I had no idea what I was reading or doing. HAHAHAH!

Well, I decided, I’m just gonna try it out! Oh and also, the main driving purpose of learning to use a DSLR at this moment is because of GlamPuss(: Why? Well, you’ll see in the upcoming months!(:

And of all the photographs that I took for an upcoming blog post, I chanced upon this picture and I like how it looks. Yeah, they’re artificial flowers btw!(:

It probably isn’t much compared to other amazing photographs out there, but hell, I’m freaking proud of this. HAHAH!
