Candle Making Workshop Experience
Was kindly invited down to experience the candle making workshop at To Be Calm and I’m glad to share my experience with my readers! Read on for more! 😊
Started off with an introductory session on the To Be Calm brand fragrance notes and waxes! Pretty interesting to learn about these details!
Onwards to the actual step by step tutorial of making your own candle! All the tools are provided for your use as seen below!(:
First up, you can choose your candle holder (additional costs).
Measure and scoop in the soy wax into a special container. The amount differs depending on the container size that you have selected!(: Afterwhich, the containers are placed in a special machine to be boiled (I think).
One of the most fun parts will be choosing your favourite scents! You can choose up to 3 different scents depending on your personal preference! This part will take up alot of time!
These were my final fragrance choices! We had to measure them out carefully and carefully add in the right amount into our wax mixture before stirring them~
Once you are done, carefully pour in the mixture into your candle holder and you are done!
Unfortunately, you will not be able to bring your candles home immediately as it needs time to set and harden. You will be contacted once they are ready for collection at To Be Calm!
It’s pretty cool because you get a personalized label and box with your candle inside! You get to name your candle and list the ingredients down for your future reference too!(:

And you are done! Pretty fun right? I love such personalized things!
