Popped by Food Republic at Capitol Piazza to have dinner after my event recently and spotted this interesting stall called Guan’s Mee Pok 正宗阿源面薄!

The menu was what attracted me initially and I was so spoilt for choice! Note that there is a queue during popular dining hours!(:
Really very different from your conventional mee pok stalls so I opted to give it a try!
Tried the signature Guan’s Mee Pok ($5.80) which came with fish maw, minced pork, 1 piece of homemade wanton and a tamago egg with plenty of lard over mee pok noodles!
Didn’t look as impressive compared to the original picture at first look. Tastewise is fine and ingredients are fresh – I opted for the non spicy version and it was kind of bland at the end though.
Overall, it’s something interesting from the usual mee pok but in general – just a meh for me. Wouldn’t return just to have it again!
