First of all, let’s all give a warm welcome to the newly opened Maku Store in Singapore! *claps*

The Location

Maku Store’s flagshop shop in Singapore is located at Level 3, #3-20, Bugis Junction. Getting there is pretty easy; just head up to level 3 and turn right into this corridor below after you see Kissjane at the escalator.

Plenty of renovations going on at this area as there are loads of brand new shops opening soon but just walk on ahead till you spy the distinctive Maku Store shop!(:

It’s a very brightly lit place and signage is pretty prominent – you can’t miss it as seen below!(:

Oops, and as their VIP that day; the store was closed temporarily during my visit! Really feel very privileged about this so I had to share this photo XD

This was my first visit to Maku Store and I was really excited to check it out. Didn’t really know what to expect as I only had a vague idea initially when I was reading up about the brand online before deciding to agree on the collaboration(:

The Store – First Impressions

My first impression of the store is that it’s very brightly lit and there’s a very cheerful and welcoming atmosphere as the store is set up in a way that welcomes customers to browse through their products freely! It does help too when you see loads of the cute Maku Store mascots displayed all around the shop 😛

At Maku Store, you will be super spoilt for choice due to their large variety of products available for everyone under the concept of “fashion for all“! Yes, I’m not kidding – there’s definitely something for everyone from small kids to teenagers and adults alike, read on see more photos of their product range!

Maku Store Bags

Essentially, the main products available for sale at Maku Store are their range of bags as seen pictured below! You have bags for everyone – work bags, casual bags, cute bags, shoulder, totes, sling, backpacks for different occasions and needs!(:

Best of all, know that your Maku Store bag is unique as all the items in the store are:

• Manufactured under the Maku Brand with their own in-house designers
• Product designs are creative and innovative; but yet fashionable at the same time (read more below)
• Products are manufactured using top-quality materials (refer HERE)
• Comes in limited quantities of 4 – 5 bags / items per design so you stand out from the crowd

The only issue to me is picking my favourite because there were so many items in the store that caught my fancy(:

Let’s take a look at some of items that I really like below:

I haven’t forgotten the guys / men either okay! Plenty of bags for your selection too(: Eyeing a couple of them for the bf as I really like the designs!

Remember I mentioned that one unique point about Maku Store is that their products are creative and innovative? To explain it further – creativity refers to the product designs of their items such as their bags. For example, you can take the following bag designs; not too common right?

And these luggages too! I really love the unique designs!(:

Meanwhile, innovation is where the designers think out of the box to try to make their products even more useful and unique.

For example, meet the transformer bag! And yes, don’t just see it as a mere backpack – it’s more than that!

It can ‘transform’ from a backpack to a cross shoulder sling bag to a briefcase! Super COOL right? Sorry I didn’t take photos of the whole thing but ask the sales staff to demonstrate! ;x

Other than that, there are so many other dual functions for many of the Maku Store products, for example their wallets have an additional SIM card slot which makes it really great for traveling! Other than that, some of their bags come with their own iPad carrying case that you can separate out from the bags and so much more! Would suggest you drop by Maku Store and ask any of their friendly sales staff to introduce these super cool features to you! Then like me; you’ll be super amazed(:

Oh I have to mention that new stocks arrive every few weeks so you will see a fresh new batch each time you drop by Maku Store!

Other Maku Store Products!

Oh, as mentioned, Maku Store is not just limited to bags but they carry a lot of other lifestyle products again – catering to all ages of course!

Let’s take a quick look at their other products in-store which includes these lovely wallets for men and women, make-up pouches as well as card cases!(:

Have my eye on these little tote bags that are perfect as my lunch bag for work! Plus it’s a thermal bag as well so you can keep your food warm if you bring your lunch to work(:

Maku Store also sells a selection of t shirts as below. This side of the rack are the themed shirts that are designed by the Maku Store in house designers for different occasions such as the Singapore F1 Grand Prix! The next few upcoming themes should be for Halloween and Christmas – but that’s just my guess(:

And the other side of the rack, you can find these shirts with Maku Store inspired designs. Most of them are super adorable so try to get your hands on one before stock runs out!(:
