So, I recently signed up for an unlimited package of bounce class / trampoline fitness pass for 1 month to see how much I could achieve within 30 days #justforkicks, and here’s a timeline of what happened.
Day 1/Session 1 – 4 July 2019
5 star Intensity. Let’s do this ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
After class: died. Classes are harder than before but you know what. Let’s do this. I’m glad I had my “training” from all my other bounce classes
Day after class: muscle aches!
Day 2/Session 2 – 6 July 2019
3 Star Intensity. BounceFit CardioBurn ⭐⭐⭐
After class: whew, that was intense. No weights or resistance band. All cardio. You’ll really SWEAT it out!
Day 3/Session 3 – 8 July 2019
5 Star Intensity. BounceFit KillerBurn ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Maybe I’m getting the hang of it but KillerBurn doesn’t feel as tough now! Jae says he killed off 937 calories but I probably did maybe 500 if I’m lucky? Hahhaha. Understand that the trainers put in 100% effort.. I usually do like 60 or 70%-ish? Will be signing up for a rather different class next so let’s see how goes!
Day 4/Session 4 – 9 July 2019
1 Star Intensity. BounceFit Bounce Basics ⭐
Initially, it was quite intense, but I think it’s because our instructor’s energy is very strong and you’ll feel like pushing yourself. I pushed myself harder for this session, even slightly Abit harder than at my usual 5 star classes! But I would say 1 star is about right, maybe 2 stars la. It ended wayyyyyyy faster than I expected, with only 3 sets I think? Makes me wonder if our instructor is so hyped up at a 1 star class..how would it be like at higher intensity classes?!
Day 5/Session 5 – 10 July 2019
3 Stars Intensity. Bounce-Box-Burn ⭐⭐⭐
This was my first bounce box burn class! Basically it’s bounce, then muay thai and then HIIT. For those trying to kill calories, this isn’t the class for you. But it works as a nice warm up!
Day 6/Session 6 – 10 July 2019
3 Stars Intensity: BounceFit CardioBurn ⭐⭐⭐
No, you saw this right. I went for a second class RIGHT after my first class (about 45 mins break in between). I’m surprised I could keep up and it was the same trainer as well! Hahhaha. Pushing it!
Day 7/Session 7 – 15 July 2019
5 Star Intensity. BounceFit KillerBurn ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Oh lol, it’s already my 7th class and 5 days since my last class. All that inactivity coming back to haunt me on Monday when I went straight back into a 5 Star Intensity class to start off the week. Jae (our instructor) said he killed off 970 calories and I’m pretty sure I did probably 300-400 at the maximum I believe. I also didn’t give it my all too but nvm, this is just the start of the week! Gogo for the next class!! 💪
Day 8/Session 8 – 16 July 2019
4 Star Intensity. BounceFit Hyperburn ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Phew, wow today was like tougher than usual. I think it’s a combination of yesterday’s 5 star class followed by another 4 Star today. But nonetheless, I still pushed and made it through woot!!
Day 9/Session 9 – 17 July 2019
3 Star Intensity. BounceFit CardioBurn ⭐⭐⭐
I really didn’t give this my all cos I was just shagged out from the last two sessions. Note that this is my consecutive third bounce class in a row for the week. I was probably at 30% at the very best but hey, I made it 😂
Day 10/Session 10 – 21 July 2019
1 Star Intensity. Bounce Basics ⭐
I’m slowly easing back to my Bounce classes for the week with a basic bounce class to start off. At least I’m also using this opportunity to drag myself out instead of being a recluse/hermit at home hahahaha 😂
And starting off from basics is a good thing tbh. Cos it gives you the foundation to build up. Of cos ideally you should treat all intensity of classes with the same level of commitment as much as you can.
It’s after all – what you paid for yeah?
Day 11/Session 11 – 22 July 2019
5 Star Intensity. BounceFit KillerBurn ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I guess this is the best way to start off a week if you’ve got plenty of energy to burn! Again, I’m still not giving 100% HAHHAA but to an acceptable level? If you give it 100%, Jae says he burned 990 calories (WTH that’s almost 1000 calories in 1 session?!) for this day according to his Fitbit I think. Wells, at least I’m not that embarrassed anymore to take a class spot at the front row cos if I suck then I suck lor hahahaha. It looks easy but tbh you need quite abit of endurance to keep up with the classes! Heh and I’m signing up for my next class on Tuesday already!~
Day 12/Session 12 – 23 July 2019
4 Star Intensity. BounceFit HyperBurn ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yaaas I’m getting the hang of it I think? Generally fyi, usually classes start up with a warm up first followed by stretches. Afterwhich it will be 3 sets of x 4 songs per set and 30 seconds of break in between before ending off with the yellow terrabands for body conditioning and then a final stretching session to end off. This is the same for both HyperBurn and KillerBurn and involves at least 1 full set of stomping generally! I don’t really see much for a difference between HyberBurn and KillerBurn tbh 😂😂
Day 12/Session 13 – 23 July 2019
1 Star Intensity. Bounce Basics ⭐
Call me crazy but I signed up for the next class immediately after my KillerBurn cos I felt guilty for snacking so much on this day. Gen’s class is very good for basics and beginner cos she’s more on the technical side. I find her classes easier to follow and for some reason, I push myself more in her classes verus other classes like Jae’s class (his is more of endurance/fun verus techniques).
Unfortunately because it is technically a beginner’s class, it’s much shorter, only 3 sets before it ended. Warm up => stretches => 3x sets (1 easy starter + 2 harder ones) => stretches. Idk but I would feel like I would like to go for more after her classes? I’m left with a week plus more before my unlimited classes end though, so gonna see if I can squeeze one or two of her classes perhaps?
Day 13/Session 14 – 24 July 2019
2 Star Intensity. BounceFit Cardio Burn ⭐⭐
It’s crazy that it’s my 4th lesson in a row but at least the lessons are good at making me feel something and makes for a good reason to get out instead of just eating/snacking at home. Our instructor pushes us as well but it’s damn tiring by now hahaaa. I wonder if I can survive another lesson for tomorrow :S
Day 14/Session 15 – 25 July 2019
3 Star Intensity. BounceFit Core & Burn ⭐⭐⭐
Nope, I didn’t go for the 5th lesson in a row cos I had other plans instead heh. Went for my 5th lesson in a week on a Friday night when plans last minute shifted :p
This is Gen’s class so I’m pretty sure she will push us like crazy :S
Annnnddd I was tight. Either that or in hopelessly out of shape. Idk but Gen as an instructor pushes me to do more. Even though it’s just a 3 Star one!
Day 15/Session 16 – 28 July 2019
1 Star Intensity. BounceFit Bounce Basics ⭐
Lol, hello Gen again. My third class in a row with her though I did have a couple of days in between! Starting off the week with a basic bounce class so that I can warm up a little and get ready for Jay’s 5 star intensity instead of throwing myself into it. Hopefully I’ll be able to make it for that class as well~
Phew, it was a tough but fun! I actually do like Gen’s lessons alot!
Day 16 / Session 17 – 29 July 2019
5 Star Intensity. BounceFit KillerBurn ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Going for KillerBurn and you can tell the difference in class level, activity level and even participation level. Everyone is mostly pumped up, no beginners though you do see some slower peeps but generally everyone can catch up. Very fierce hahaha so don’t take the first few rows. Fitspo/gym ready bodies, bboys and more.
Usually the same songs are used for the whole month for the set. Not sure if it will be changed in the future but okay la, if it’s always different its hard to catch up. There’s more weights training here as well. More power ups anytime and you see everyone pushing it.
Expect bounce warm up before stretches. Then 4 sets in total with 3 sets with bounce, stomping and weights and the last set with therrah bands, core (minor) and finishing off with stretches.
Verdict? Look like a drowned rat after you’re done! But SHIOK! It’s also here when I started pairing my bounce classes with my slimming sessions with Han Dian TCM to get the most out of it and further embark on my weight loss journey for this year!
Day 17 / Session 18 – 30 July 2019
1 Star Intensity. BounceFit Bounce Basics ⭐
What I really like about my bounce classes is that it’s so easy to book with their own dedicated app, and I can book it super last minute as there are usually slots available! This is important because sometimes my schedule can be super haphazard so sometimes I just book for other classes maybe like 30 mins in advance etc. Other than that? I’m usually almost running late and they are fine with it cos they understand that work matters.
Anyways, here for a short workout with a 1 star intensity class with Gen, cos I couldn’t make it for the previous earlier class!
Ugh but probably due to excess classes + going for my Han Dian slimming treatments (almost equal to doing a 2 hour workout for your body), I was really not up to scratch for the 1 star till..my fave stomping set. Yeah, I mean this what everyone signed up for la, the stomping part heh. At least I pushed through and it’s doneeeee!!
Day 18 / Session 19 – 31 July 2019
4 Star Intensity. BounceFit Hyperburn ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Today was a fun session! And the most hilarious part? The two front row peeps are both named Daphne! Finally bumped into my friend, Daphne who was the original person who introduced me to Kulture Studios!
Day 18 / Session 20 – 31 July 2019
2 Star Intensity. BounceFit CardioBurn ⭐⭐
Legs dying but I still made that push to go for that second class right after the HyperBurn! Note that I didn’t give 100% for both ah, will die. I’m probably 30-40% average and maybe 60-70% for the one stomping set for a few seconds and nope. NOPE, I’m done for the day hahahaha
Day 19 / Session 21 – 4 August 2019
5 Star Intensity. BounceFit KillerBurn ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Session 21 marks my final bounce class at Kculture Studios under my unlimited pass! To mark this occasion, I went for the last KillerBurn class at 11am on Sunday morning before my slimming treatment at Han Dian TCM later that afternoon. Unfortunately, I didn’t give it all my all especially at the stomping part which is kinda my fave part.
I’m sad 🙁
I also noticed a song change for the class this round, and it seems slightly lighter compared to Monday’s 5 star intensity night class. Well, I guess you don’t wanna tire yourself out before the day starts right?
Well, last look 🙁 And I’m beginning to recognize some regular faces here too but baibai~
Conclusion!

Tbh I’m quite sad it has come to an end but eh, forking out $280 for another unlimited pass is a little too painful for my pocket now HAHAHHA. I probably might be back again in the future but probably not so soon perhaps.
Nonetheless, it’s been a fun experience here and more importantly, I can’t believe I went for 21 sessions of bounce classes within 1 month LOL.
Is the unlimited pass is worth paying for?
I guess a question you might ask would be – Is the unlimited pass is worth paying for?
YES, if you really go crazy spamming it AND if you have ALOT of spare time. Best it’s on sale. I paid $199 (GSS Sale) for my classes (U.P $280) which works out to be $199/21 = $9.50 per class. The usual drop in rates per class is $30 so that’s alot of savings.
What I like most?
- Close to my place (duh) so I don’t have to travel down all the way to the city area. The extra commute time sometimes isn’t worth it.
- Daily night classes at different timings.
- Easy to book on the app
- Not strict on lateness policy
- Can choose from Kallang Wave Mall verus Robinson studio.
- Free water for unlimited pass holders. Only once per day, if you have two classes per day, you’re only entitled to one bottle regardless.
- Fun classes and nice instructors.
What I don’t like?
- App sometimes a little wonky. Can’t book two classes at a go.
- Most all afternoon classes on weekdays are at Robinson (but I can understand why!).
- More expensive than the other bounce studio I used to frequent.
- No free water 🙁 (pampered by my other studio) but you can bring your own!
- No free towels for use or in house shower facilities (yes too pampered by my other studio HHAAHAHAHHA). But anyway I’m ok without cos it’s pretty close to home!
Results
- You feel good working out!
- Your endurance, and perhaps coordination improves
- You definitely get stronger for sure thanks to the weights and therabands used in class
- Not sure if there’s weight loss improvements as I didn’t take my weight (before and after). I think it’s good to combine it with slimming treatments or weight loss i.e Han Dian TCM!
Overall..Will I return?
Yep, eventually down the road I guess? I really enjoy the bounce/trampoline fitness classes very much! Just that it’s a tad expensive for me now~
Will I recommend?
Yep! Different studios have different styles so I suggest you shake it up by trying them out to see what you like! This particular one is:
Kulture Studios (BounceFit)
1 Stadium Pl, #02-05, Singapore 397628 (Kallang Wave Mall)
Website
And nope, #notsponsored! Another studio that I used to visit to BBOUNCE / Beatx, also not too bad!
More importantly, thanks always for reading!
