T-minus one till my actual birthday, boy oh boy. But what’s occupying my mind is a different matter altogether instead and this is gonna be a short post (I think) cos I can’t really / don’t really want to share too much about some stuff yet (cos supposed to be embargoed as well!)~

Speaking of KC, call it fate or anything but the next moment after I posted my video – I spotted this notebook that my mom was recycling as scrap paper and I realized how proud I am to be part of the KC family!

Our school song played in my head as I looked it. Funny how we used to scoff singing the school song everyday back in school in the morning but yet it strikes a chord in adulthood.

Indeed, my secondary school life played a huge part to who I am now and I’m forever grateful to have the opportunity to attend this school. If not, I wouldn’t have met my bestie and my beloved KC ladies. And what a blessing they are to my life(:

My mom surprised me with a simple birthday cake from BreadTalk – their new spongecake with cream cheese and cranberries that afternoon. It wasn’t expected at all and I’m really appreciative of the thought though that was really unnecessary hahaha.

Her original plan was the classic pandan cake from Bengawang Solo but it was sold out. It was a really sweet gesture nonetheless(: Oh my mom hahaha. Thank you; I am indeed – super blessed beyond belief! 🙏🙇‍♀️

Spent the rest of my afternoon mentally prepping myself for what’s to come next. Like a show you know? Actually quite stressed over it for the past few days as the date grew closer and it was finally D-Day!

And then, Day 1 was over just like that. Phew..I felt quite disoriented when everything was over actually. Like oh, it’s done. I did it. We did it. First day is over. And it was not bad. Quite fun actually and I truly enjoyed myself! The hours just flew by just like and .. wow. Okay, yeah I have no other words to say HAHHAHA 😂

I’m just surprised I had the energy after that to go for my usual night walk after that. But I need that disconnection and downtime after a rather long day. It’s only a few hours but woah, it really take a toll man hahaha.

Oops and sorry to be abrupt but gonna be ending this post here! Another long day ahead so gonna conserve some energy for that! More importantly, fingers crossed it will be a good day that day.
