Lol I guess the NDP present I got from yesterday would be COVID. Tbh I wouldn’t have tested it if I hadn’t a number of appointments and dinner with the wifey and her hubs later that evening.

An volia. That line showed up as red as anything. It’s been awhile since I had COVID and it was not fun 🙁

Thankful to the hubs for prepping me a banana strawberry smoothie, buying me medication, porridge and allowing me to rest pretty much all the way in bed cos I was absolutely SHAGGED out with zero energy.

At least I had an appetite and ate everything lol!

The wifey also sent over some nourishing goodies of chrysanthemum tea, barley, gui ling gao and aloe vera jelly .. exactly like covid days.

For the most parts, I was pretty much flooding myself with water and peeing literally hourly to hydrate myself, take my temperature and pretty much just rotted on the bed the full day.

Yep, had to cancel all my appointments and plans for the day. Was most disappointed about missing out on Grillfest as it was the final day. Sigh..I guess there’s next year 🙁

At least I got to view fireworks that night and curl up a little with the hubs when I had a little more energy.

P.s of course, while wearing a mask the whole day with the FIL and him at home.
