4/5 Chronicles of a Typical Office Lady in Singapore

Waking up to gloomy cold weather once again on a Monday. Gee, did the long weekend just fly by just like that?

Anyway, the start of the month is usually the busiest, plus its the start of the week to boot as well so yeah, work~ Things will definitely be ramping up as we go along.

At least there’s a Vesak Day holiday break to look forward to this week and Mother’s Day over the weekend as well!

Speaking of Mother’s Day, I’ve been looking at gift options/food delivery options for quite awhile now for my mom and Bear’s mom as well. Especially now due to the circuit breaker, we can’t bring our respective moms out so the best option is a stay home meal + a gift!

The question is..what? 🤔

The options that I was debating over include crabs, 4Fingers, bread/cakes from various places – and its all thanks to Facebook groups such as the Hawkers United – Dabao 2020 Group, Bakery and Cafes United Group and a plethora of Facebook ads so I’m so spoilt for choice hahahaha.

Meanwhile in reality – my meals include homemade curry chicken, oranges and salmon to name a few; very blessed during this period to enjoy homecooked food. Its also here we need to give thanks to our moms (or parents) for bearing the blunt of the housework/cooking while we can work comfortably and quietly in our own rooms when wfm-ing.

I’m very lucky.

Also managed to squeeze in a short run-walk-grocery pick-up on this day to kill off some calories so I’m good 🙂

Hehe and to end off my Monday thr fourth on a high – finally re-watching Lord of The Rings as my late night movie reward.

Might regret it tomorrow morning to wake up for work butttt, its LOTR!!
