8 Jan 2020 – Chronicles of a Typical Office Lady in Singapore
Things can sure turn out unexpectedly when you don’t really have a concrete plan – in a good way of course.
In terms of work, it’s pretty smooth for now, with our scheduled meetings running accordingly and I’m (hopefully) on track to getting my stuff done before deadline.
However, that to-do list is also starting to grow at this moment~]
This is also my Day 1 attempt of keeping to my diet, which all went well at first with the egg whites and water.
Unexpectedly, I was given a slice of chocolate swissroll from Rich & Good Cake Shop which I couldn’t resist..so ye, diet failed on Day 1 already!
Well, at least I kinda made up for it during lunch by partaking in my favourite fish meat soup ($6), no carbs, but there’s still milk! ☺️
Unexpectedly as well, poor Bear was still under the weather today, so the dutiful girlfriend, aka me got him some invalid food aka seaweed soup with surprisingly quite a number of ingredients. Not too shabby for $5! Rice is at 80 cents!

Even with the growing list of things to do, at least I still can knock off not too late, and more importantly – NOT bring my work home with me; at least for now so I’m gonna enjoy it while I can.
Had no concrete plans for this day other than going home and enjoying my me-time, but again, I mentioned that things can always turn out unexpectedly right?
This unexpected twist = heading down to recce/scout a place with Bear for work purposes.
Yep, the poor man was also working from home all day while on official MC. #agencylife, nuff said.
At least during our recce/scouting, we also stumbled onto quite a number of interesting stuff and awesome deals!

Last but not least, to end off my night on a lovely note (other than a quick work-date with Bear) – fruits for the night.
