And just like that, the weekend just flew past and it’s back to a working Monday once again.
Fortunately, it’s still the holiday season/period so there’s some lull time in between as we ramp up preparations for 2020 ahead!
Bonus in this morning?
That short 1-2 mins with my bear that morning before work!

It made my morning for sure!
I settled lunch – this Yong tau Foo x spinach soup thing from Our Tampines Hub hawker centre and it was definitely heartwarming for the soul to eat during this cooling start of the week.
It’s predicted that the weather will get cooler and cooler (+rainy!) over the next few weeks so hot soup / food = the way to go now!
Taking this chance to also wander around NTUC to check out what’s new and I really couldn’t resist the brown crust of this bread!
Sigh, all that carbs, damn.
The #After630pm Life
At least I’m working it off after by heading over for my usual weekly bounce classes.
Hell yeah it feels so good to be able to sweat it out at the start of the week and kill some calories at the same time!
I fell prey however, to a bag of pretzels from Alison’s Pantry and these $1 beef sausages on sale from Cold Storage.
Christmas is definitely in the air and you can see that at Cold Storage with their plethora of Christmas offerings and even turkey leg which you don’t really see often!
They are definitely upping their game in terms of catering though – for example, offering beef Wellington and the like!
Unique wine/drink options are also impressive at the same time.
Best of all? I’m fully scheduled till 1 Jan 2020 for this blog of mine!
All in all, a satisfying Monday to start off this week as the countdown begins for my long awaited trip!
I can’t wait 🙂
