You know they always say that good things will come to people who wait?
Well, my patience kinda finally paid off in a small way with a very short term employment offer I received today.
Tbf, I said yes previously without even fully knowing the scope, description and whatsoever. All I knew, it was a start.
A start, no matter how short is a start after all and I’m not gonna let these opportunities like these slip by me 💁♀️
More importantly, I also learnt that things are always not concrete till you sign on the dotted line.
Talk is cheap after all ;p
Lol and something rather laughable = when I first saw the contract and the position that I would be covering for = my eyes literally boggled out cos that was SO not expected.
The job description seems pretty terrifying as well, wayyy out of my comfort zone as that’s NOTHIN’ I’ve ever done but hey. I won’t know till I try?
Well, even if it’s only a short term thing, just having that title feels good cos it’s also a reason for leaving my original job in the first place.
More importantly, I really, really hope I’m capable of handling it. Ye, self-confidence has always been an issue for me..but the person who deemed me suitable to recommend for this position thought I was capable so.. I’m gonna work real hard and get all the experience I can get.
Who knows if this start could lead to somewhere?

Sidenote: I think I’m really really blessed and lucky in life to get such opportunities like these.
P.s so this entire day was all about running errands, heading to Han Dian for my usual appointments and prepping. Work > above all. This includes my blog and SG Lifestyle.
