It’s the day of the weigh-in and first up for the day?
Take my measurements first! It’s highly recommended to take your weight and measurements when you wake as it’s the most accurate representation (and also..when you’re the lightest HAHHAHA). Unfortunately, I don’t have a weighing scale so that has to be done during my weigh in at Han Dian TCM for later.
Note to self; buy a weighing scale!
Next to do on my list is to check in my MacBook which has been running since yesterday reinstalling the Lion OS (from the initial 1600 hours, lol to 40 hours and then 50 hours last night). Lol a couple of my friends asked me to give it up but eh..gotta try at least right? Hahaha.
It looks as if progress has been made?

And I was off for my slimming treatments and 5th weigh-in at Han Dian TCM!
Sadly, the latter shows that I gained?! Though outwardly and the measurements show otherwise. Weird uh? 🤔
No matter, on with the treatments because it’s gonna be tough to get past this hurdle. We just don’t give up and keep going cos eventually I know the weight will drop.
What comes up, will go down. And vice versa as well!
And by my 5th session, as expected – the cupping marks are considerably lighter and doesn’t leave any marks at all! In fact, Dr Huang has reduced to use the smaller cupping cups and they keep dropping off = signs of less fat to cup HAHHAHA.

Tbh, it’s kinda sad to be living without my laptop for now cos this means I can’t do any proper work. Luckily I can do so on my phone..but it’s kinda limiting. Hopefully my MacBook and my secondary backup plan will somehow save the day? HAHHAHAHA.
Well, might as well take a break now and just enjoy it then – with an impromptu #treatyoself movie: Fast & Furious: Hobbs and Shaws.
Okay, fine. It wasn’t that impromptu.
Finding GV Yishun is very tricky though. So for first timers, know that Golden Village is NOT located within Northpoint City at all. Instead, it’s located in the building next to it.
The best way to describe how to get there was from this guy who shared very good directions and I’m sharing it here on my blog in case anyone is interested.
- Head to Level 1 of Northpoint City
- Look for UOB Bank and head out of the exit.
- The building is on your left and you need to cross the road to reach it!
- Tadaa, you’ve reached GV Yishun!
Something interesting is that you need to get your ticket first before entering in to purchase your snack bar..which is very unlike most other GV outlets where it’s an open public space.
And yes..it was cheat day for me LOL. Sigh popcorn 🙁
P.s I love watching the ads. The founding mother ad from Starhub for National Day is amazeballs.
P.p.s The Standard chartered ad was way too fast to catch any balls.
Fast & Furious (Hobbs & Shaw) was a great popcorn munching movie btw. Very big budget for sure with plenty of cars, explosions, car chase scenes and many many more – super action packed if that’s your thing.
Predictable too of cos but not too shabby. tl;dr, it’s a fun ride 🙂

Picking up these groceries from Cold Storage to prep for my #healthyliving salad meals over the next few days!
Had my first hair wash after the treatment – I wonder if it will make a difference tomorrow?
My thrice-weekly sessions using my Dermadry machine!
And my final check on the MacBook. Erm 14 hours more 🤦 Last try ok?
What made my day as well will be these two paus. I’m very thankful to the Uncle and Aunty of the pau store for their generosity and kindness. Must always support k~
P.s I dropped my Google Pixel 2 again and shattered the entire top part of the phone and the screen protector on this day. Thank goodness for a good screen protector omg but my phone is barely hanging on HAHAHAHA. GG
