redpan at Marina Square – Nay or Yeah?

Had my Christmas dinner at redpan over at Marina Square back in Dec 2017!

The Place

Heard good reviews and it looks pretty nice when I walked past the restaurant so we decided to go ahead and make a reservation there!

The Menu

For your reference, you can find the full menu as follows!

It was a pity that I was too full over my Christmas brunch earlier that day so I wasn’t too hungry! Anyway, here’s what we ordered!

Chilli Crab Nachos – $9

We shared an appetizer of chilli crab nachos to start off! Loved the generous amount of cheese (but not the chopped green chilli/jalapenos (is either one!)) on top of the nachos and it went really well with the spicy chilli crab dip! Loved it! 😍

Seared Salmon Edamame Salad – $19

The seared salmon edamame salad is overpriced in my opinion. Serving is relatively small but at least it was tasty. You can’t really go wrong with fresh salad greens and searing salmon lol! I went this healthier option to make up for my calorie overload earlier that day hahahhaha!

Temasek Chicken Chop – $16

Uncle had the temasek chicken chop. Very basic and tastewise, it was average.

Lol as you can tell – we weren’t too adventurous because of the full meal we had earlier on. To be honest, I only enjoyed my chilli crab nachos the best; the rest was meh~ Maybe it’s because we didn’t try their more popular choices like the prawn & hae bi hiam pasta and such!

Total bill fyi was $57.67 for 2. Didn’t feel that I had eaten my value other than good company with Uncle so I’ll probably not be back anytime soon! Sorry redpan!
