For 30 days in September 2017, my team and I (Claire/Crystal/Simon and myself) signed up for the #Steptember challenge and attempted to walk 10k steps to raise a team goal of $100 for cerebral palsy. If you have been following me on my IG stories, I did post my steps there daily! ❤
Honestly speaking, it wasn’t easy to hit 10k steps everyday especially being office workers. I tried my best to take the longer walk routes, climb more stairs, more running and make the effort to head out to walk over the weekends to hit the 10k steps. Some days I couldn’t hit it but I still recorded down my steps because honesty is the best policy and I really did what I could! 😁
I know the rest of my team members also did their best too!(:
Nonetheless, I’m very proud of our combined efforts and we walked a total of 1.2 million steps in total for 30 days! Am so impressed and satisfied~ 😊 WE DID IT GUYS!!
We didn’t hit our $100 fund because no one donated and we didn’t actively promote hahahha but that’s okay! I said it at the start that I would make a personal donation of $25 to our team for our efforts and yep – I did it.
Hahahhaha now it’s no longer $0/$100 HAHHAHA!
It was a fun challenge no matter what and I’m grateful to have found 3 other friends commit with me in this cause, thanks guys! ❤
Will probably take up this charity challenge again next year; let’s see who would be willing to join me then? 😊
