Stomper notices same guy with different wives in Love Story entries — one year apart

Stomper Missy noticed that the same man had participated in Stomp’s Love Story Contest last year and this year — but with a different partner.

1. 2013 STOMP Love Story Contest

Love Story 2013: ‘I asked Fish to be my GF a day after we first met’

In 2013’s contest, Edward had shared about how he asked Fish to be his girlfriend after they first met. They soon got married as even though Edward was only 20 years old and still serving National Service. This is as Fish’s great-grandmother had just passed away and according traditional beliefs, she would not be able to marry in the next three years.

Edward said: “Fish, here’s what I want to say to you: Dear, even though these few months we often quarrelled and we did not meet each other often as we both stayed far away from each other, my heart still loves you. I will be your one and only best husband and bring a better family to you.

I hope that you understand I may be young and our age gap might be different, but I will learn and I will try my very best to give you what you need. Just want to let you know, DEAR, I LOVE YOU. 03.07.2013”

2. 2014 STOMP Love Story Contest

Love Story 2014: I finally made my dream girl mine — three years after we first met

In 2014’s contest, Edward wrote that he had been smitten with Eileen since he was 17. However, he did not do anything about his feelings as she was already attached then, and they slowly lost contact. Two years later, they crossed paths again and started seeing each other as Eileen was single again. The couple are now married and Eileen gave birth to a baby boy only last month.

Edward Said: “I found out then that she had already broken up with her boyfriend and was currently single. “I manage to win her heart that day with a little bear from an arcade machine. “I was craazy over her. My feelings towards her were different from that with all my previous girlfriends (WHAT ABOUT YOUR WIFE?). “A few months later, I proposed to her and we got married, before she gave birth to a baby boy last month. “Dear, thanks for being with me through all my ups and downs. “You must take care yourself when I enlist for national service. “I love you! (DIDN’T YOU JUST TELL FISH YOU LOVED HER LAST YEAR?)“

I read Edward x Fish’s love story last year but seriously, wow, I never expected this twist. And right now, after reading the above – thanks to the keen eyes of this STOMP-er, I’m glad that this Edward guy is exposed. Basically, from the above, it seems like either this:

• Eileen was attached when he got married. Then the moment she was single, he dumped/divorced Fish to marry Eileen?
• Of course, an alternative viewpoint would be that Fish got sick of him and dumped him first so that’s why he had the freedom to chase after Eileen after that. 

To be honest, I don’t really care for his exact story. But I just CAN’T GET OVER WHAT HE SAID/PROMISED:

“My heart still loves you. I will be your one and only best husband and bring a better family to you.” – Edward to Fish

DON’T MAKE promises you can’t keep 🙁

And seriously, marriage isn’t something that you can take so lightly and divorce on a whim. What happened to all the vows exchanged between them?

 

Regardless…… no matter what – I can’t believe that this guy joined the STOMP contest AGAIN with a different wife???!!!!
