This Sunday started off with a simple homecooked brekkie of stir fried cabbage with scrambled eggs and a dallop of FARMHOUSE French Vanilla Milk, plus peanut butter toast for the hubs and myself.

I said byebye to him then as I would be out for a gjrls’ day outing x photoshoot session with Cat for the rest of the Sunday. He, on the otherhand was gonna chillax and have a good time hahah.

First up, a 1.5hrs full body massage cos we deserve this. This is followed by our photoshoot session as we transformed with makeup, costumes and accessories into hanfu ladies / wuxia ladies from different dynasties.

Apparently mine is an exotic desert princess in red, a colour that I don’t often choose cos I’m more of a pastel coloured, pink girly vibes. But, since I already did that concept before, it’s time to try something a little different this round! Thankfully the makeup was not too white, I look naturally coloured except for the very red blush/eye shadow everywhere lol! (Fine in photos, but a little much for normal wear).

We took our respective solo shots first and then some girly shots together, knowing that we had a phoot limit of 5 per person (as members). Editing will take some time, so cater around 40mins-1hr for this.

Dessert was served and we yapped for abit while chatting and snapping more photos. Alternatively, you can opt to remove ur hair accessories/hair etc too while waiting around.

There are costs involved if you want more photos and we refused to top up, of course. Just ruthlessly cutting them down till we got the photos we wanted. Not bad la, we had 4 solo shots and 2 group shots in the end and the photos turned out pretty nice 🙂

Wuxia damsels anyone? Hahaha that was kinda the look and feel we were going for haha!

It was a blast and the wuxia sisters are hungry.

Time for dinner at 3 Meals A Day over at Sim Lim Square! We had their salted egg chicken rice paired with a sharing portion of their pork/veggie soup. Sufficient and very filling! The chicken was slightly overfried imo, but the sauce was definitely a highlight. Would love to have seconds!

Onwards to more shopping at Bugis Street aka cheap shopping time!! I even got my gelish manicure removed for $10, to let my nails rest before the next set in Aug.

Cat definitely went crazy shopping here and snagged quite a number of good deals at $5 and $10 respectively. Too bad the photobooth session was closed cos it was $10 for polaroid shots and a printed keychain.

Overall, it was a fun girls day out with dearest Cat. Till the next one!
