#OfficeDiaries: Trying A Double Serving of L’Entrecôte Steak and Fries Set for $57.90++ at La Savoir @ Scotts Square – 26 Feb 2024

#OfficeDiaries Trying A Double Serving of L’Entrecôte Steak and Fries Set for $57.90++ at La Savoir @ Scotts Square - 26 Feb 2024

Good morning Monday! I was pretty excited today cos I’ll be trying two things – 1) the red bean peanut crumb bread that I bought from Bakery 1946, yes that famous Korean bakery that has a pop up store in Bugis.

Tbf I thought it was just ok, nothing super mind-blowing. I prefer the Japanese type of azuki beans. Perhaps the black sesame version will be nicer, this was alright.

Then fruits, some sweets to fuel me up before dinner that night!

And this is the second thing I was looking forward to today! Heading over to the newly opened La Savoir located at Scotts Square, Orchard Road. Love their lovely decor and vibes, definitely a good place to host gatherings for close friends and a nice date place for couples.

We were here mainly for the L’Entrecôte Steak and Fries experience priced at S$39.90++ for a la carte, S$57.90++ for the set. Of course, I would recommend going for the latter because this is the most value for money option!

For $57.90++, you will be getting a starter salad (delicious dressing!), and a plate of L’Entrecôte steak and fries that is refillable! In other words, you’re getting a second serving for free! And that’s exactly what the mister did 🙂

Note also that your food is served on Hermes plates which is a nice refined touch and they have a few patterns/designs as seen below.

You are able to choose the doneness of your steak and I went for medium rare while the mister went for the medium. The cut was tender and juicy; and pairs well with the accompanying sauces that I enjoyed. We enjoyed thr fries as well, that were nice, thin and crispy!

All in all this was eaten in a lovely romantic setting perfect for date night in town 🙂

Be sure to top up $6 for dessert to round off this whole meal. The cake choices for that day were honey yuzu (recommended!), all chocolate and a sesame hojicha cake (if I recall right), all very safe and great flavours to end off the meal right 🙂

Thanks for having us that day!

Meanwhile, I was off to Takashimaya, and then Donki after that as we strolled off the calories consumed that evening .. where I couldn’t resist buying this whole basket load of snacks!
