Happy 5th May! 0505! Today’s a rare WFH day on a Friday cos I had some family commitments. No matter what, it always starts off with brekkie and I love my peanut butter alot!
Headed down later to Old Airport Road Food Centre to get my hands on an early lunch of lor mee for myself and some yam cake for my mom’s afternoon tea break from these new crystal Pau store. Her verdict? Not bad, so I shall continue patronising them again!
I discovered a new bakery that just opened opposite my place and they have peanut butter waffles too so yay!! This means if ever I need my peanut butter waffle fix, now at least I have somewhere close to my place to enjoy 🙂
And also, the best part about wfh stuff = being able to balance out alot of things and save time on commuting = more time to do household chores and also schedule all my blog post after work.
Went out after that with the mister for a visit and it was my first time trying out John’s Pizzeria & Bakery! My colleague ordered quite a number of stuff and we were able to try out a few of their pizzas from a cheesy shroom one to pepperoni, a cauliflower based pizza and these delicious cauliflower bites. Super carb heavy for the pizza, bread and the like but very delicious.
Also very blessed to receive all these snacks from her recent trip to Batam, thank you for thinking of us 🙂 Very generous and I’m super thankful.
This week has really flown by in a blur with unexpected and sad matters cropping out of the blue. On the bright side, it brought people closer and makes you appreciate family a little more.
