#WeekendsWithMitsueki: Simple Joys x Cafehopping @ Little Rogue Coffee – 30 April 2023

weekends with mitsueki little rogue coffee

Your time and energy should only be spent on important things in life cos simple happiness can be derived from them 🙂

This Sunday was one of those days that tops my list for the month cos of all the simple joys.

First up – heading to the library to borrow books and finding one of my favourite authors books available for loan (free). Followed by a drive to my mom’s favourite Tanjong Rhu Pau to buy some dimsum and baos for all my favourite people (the mister, my mom, and my friends).

It’s really difficult to get a full attendance on our #kderellas meet ups and today was one of the rare moments that sometimes happen only once a year if Pinky and her family were in Singapore. Naturally, we had to meet up, and for once, it wasn’t at the usual place over at Jess’s house but our very first time at a cafe setting!

We chose Little Rogue Cafe in the East because of the space, and the fact that they have a dedicated kids corner where parents can deposit their children to play while keeping an eye on them while the adults can have their adult conversations. Additionally, the place is relatively spacious so prams can be pushed in very easily too. Baby chairs are available on request, and there’s a mini menu (only two items of Mac and cheese and chicken noodles soup) for the kids.

Known for their coffee as well, most of us ordered their different speciality coffees while they also have free flow water for free.

I’ll have to say that cafehopping is not cheap in Singapore as you can expect to pay at least $25-30 per pax, add more if you’re treating friends. The bill was around $300+ for all our mains + sides, but once in awhile it’s okay la – especially when you have friends over and most importantly, we had a great time to gather and catch up in a nice comfy environment and decent food.

And as always, this is the best way to end off the night! 🙂
