#OfficeDiaries: Dinner Tasting @ Bones N Slaw Central Clarke Quay – 12 April 2023

office diaries bones n slaw central

Blessed with these homemade cookies by my fellow colleague, and I’m so happy to be able to indulge in my favourite peanut pancake as well on this Wednesday!

Beyond that, it was alot of feasting today after work with a meet up x tasting dinner at Bones N Slaw located at Central, Clarke Quay. It’s a nice cozy cafe that overlooks the main Singapore River with a great view so try to get the seats by the window if you can! 🙂

As it was a tasting session, we were blessed to be able to try out a number of their dishes on the menu starting off with a generous portions of sharing sides – meat free nuggets ($12.90), tater tots ($6.90) and fried calamari ($16.90). We enjoyed them all and I personally think the tater tots are great to order for a very affordable side considering the portions! I also loved the batter of the fried calamari which was done just right with a nice dash of lemon to finish it all 🙂

For mains, we had the 48 hours sous vide beef cheeks ($26.90) that was absolutely tender and lovely, and a very nice 50 degree salmon ($25.90) for those who prefer seafood over beef. Would recommend the beef cheeks as we all enjoyed it very portion and the portion was good for the price.

Not forgetting carbs in the form of the truffle carbonara pasta ($20.90) that I enjoyed very much, as well as the smoked garlic prawn pizza ($18.90). They were a surprise hit for me as I didn’t expect to enjoy them this much. Also, the portion size are good for sharing in a group, trust me – you’ll not leave Bones N Slaw without a full stomach.

If you’re still up for dessert, be sure to try their homemade tiramisu at $8.90 per box which is a great option because the portion was really huge for the price and delicious too. However, I prefer mine slightly abit wetter and this is more on the drier/cake-y side if that’s your personal preference. And here’s the best thing about the box = being able to easily bring home to enjoy if you can’t finish it!

Most importantly, it’s always about the company that matters most to me – meeting friends and hanging with the mister = always a good time.

Thanks also to Bones N Slaw for having us that night! We enjoyed the meal and wil definitely reconsider coming back in the future with friends!

P.s surprised the mister on this night :p

The countdown to his birthday trip begins!
