#WeekendswithMitsueki: Planning x Premium Pizza Delivery from Casa Votra x Pre-Birthday Celebrations for the Mister – 8 April 2023

The pre birthday celebration for the mister continues on this Saturday! But first, the usual stuff like doing chores, meals and planning his surprise trip for next week! It’s also my first time cancelling a hotel booking cos my plans changed up at the last minute, but fortunately..it was a cancellation free booking so phew.

Meanwhile on Jess’s side, she received a media drop courtesy of Casa Votra which I had it delivered on SG Lifestyle’s behalf to her place so that the team could try out the pizza during our gathering today! It’s basically a brand new pizza delivery concept by by Chef Antonio Miscellaneo, owner of La Bottega Enoteca, created jointly with Ebb and Flow Group.

What you get in your order: A freshly baked handcrafted 12 inch pizza made fresh daily using the best Italian flours, fermented over 48 hours and topped with Italian sourced ingredients being baked in a wood fired oven and delivered to your house.

All you need to do is to finish the final prepwork of assembling the ingredients, before heating it up for 3-4 mins in your oven (preheat for 250 degrees first!) , and you have a restaurant quality crispy oven baked pizza that will be a hit with your family and friends!

Hehe thanks to Jess who did the groundwork preps for us – we have a pizza party with wings ready when we headed over that evening with the kiddos! Yum yum!

What we had:

1. Prosciutto e Funghi $37 – Casa Vostra’s version of this Italian favourite starts with an earthy base of fiordilatte and mushrooms, later topped by premium “Prosciutto Cotto” from Italy and large shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano DOP.

2. Prosciutto e Rucola (Rocket and Parma) $38 with a San Marzano DOP and Italian Fiordilatte base, topped by fresh Rocket, velvety San Daniele Ham, and savoury shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano DOP.

They were really delicious and both the kids + adults enjoyed the meal! Just note that the crust is much thicker than the usual, however it is soft and airy. Look at the blistered bits that can only be achieved using a stone baked oven too!

Plus a surprise birthday “cake” of ice cream pints for the mister to celebrate his birthday! I’m always thankful for these lovely bunch of people and I’m quite excited for our next meetup cos of someone new coming and I’m so so happy about it!
