Meanwhile, today is a girls lunch out date with the bestie at a cafe that I’ve been meaning to try for the longest time – Mamma Mia at Suntec City! It’s an affordable Italian style cafe known for its pocket friendly prices and nice cafe set up that will definitely be a great option for friends meetups, dates and family gatherings!
We started off with sides of garlic bread, mushroom soup and this combo of fritters and fried cauliflower, before proceeding to our mains of their popular pink pasta with fried egg topped with chicken, alongside a salmon risotto. Total bill damage for two was around $55 ($27.50 each) without drinks which was still okay for a once in awhile treat! Most importantly, it was about catching up with the bestie on a one on one session and that was great 🙂
Moving on, we said our good-byes for our respective itineraries – hers, to her pole class and mine, for some window shopping, chilling around and meeting the mister for our movie date that afternoon with Dungeons and Dragons! We also had a teabreak snack of fries and ice cream cos MCD has this lovely $3 weekend offer to get them both and it’s a great deal!
Saturdays are also the days where I usually like to decompress though I do have a number of other commitments. However, we really have to try to set up some spare time to devote to yourself/play cos life’s not always about work :p
Enjoy the weekends fully okay! And I know I did, for this Saturday with chips, fruits and bingeing on Singles Inferno (yes..we are overdue in watching) with my favourite person.
