It’s Showtime as day 1 of the F&B Fair 2023 begins! We started off early with our first ever pre-media hosting for some selected media including some famous names and it was the first time for many of us doing the hosting session and bringing them around on a media tour per se before the doors officially opened to the public.

And welcome to everyone who started streaming in at 11am, ready with their empty baskets and shopping carts to as they got ready to shop and feast at the show!

We had a number of unhosted media sessions throughout the day, on top of a hosted tasting session for a specific group – again, everything was a first time for all of us. Luckily I had some of the team members who helped to pitch in to help be my runners/hosts for both sessions and that really helped to alleviate the stress point off my shoulders. They were also a fun bunch and I enjoyed this session with them..

Of course, beyond all the glam and glitz (if any), there were MULTIPLE hiccups on day 1, which is expected. It’s all about trying to figure out how to resolve them asap just in time before the next day cos afterall it’s all about improving and adapting.

I’m thankful to my interns/part timers on this case for tanking alot of the matters and different aspects. Their feedback is also important on how we can rework stuff and well, let’s get it going for the next day!
