#WeekendswithMitsueki: Feasting at Artbox x Rilakkuma and Underground Carnival @ T3 x Couple Chill Time – 4 March 2023

weekends with mitsueki rilakkuma underground

Happy weekends everyone as we get ready for a fun filled Saturday today!

Starting off with my second visit to Artbox Singapore, this time with Crystal and her friend, together with the mister and myself as we met up for lunch!

The crowd was still pretty good in this case despite the $7 entry fee but I do feel that it’s quite worth it for the price to enter cos of the various activities onsite, plus the food options as well too!

This round, we tried out a number of different food items thanks to the Mister’s Burpple Beyond / Burpples $20 voucher. We had this Truffle Grilled Cheese Sandwich & this beef taco like thing with an accompanying dip from The Tipsy Tavern (@thetipsytavern.sg), ramen from Ramen Shiba (@ramenshibasg), triple chocolate swirl from New Deli Bakes (@newdelibakes), onigiri from Rappu by @properconcepts.sg, Espresso Lager from Chang Beer (@changbeersg), mala hotpot in a tub from No Time Anyhow Hotpot, sourdough donuts from Kobashi (@kobashi_sg) and Wagyu beef cubes from (sorry I forgot where cos I didn’t buy it).

Best of all, cos we were with a group of 4, sharing is great so there wasn’t any food wastage 🙂

We really like the vibes here and sat around chilling, eating and chatting for a couple of hours before we bid our goodbyes to move on to the next location – Changi Airport!

I really swear that it’s an impromptu one where I met up with the wife and her hubs at T3 later on. It just so happened our schedule matches so tadaah!

Anyway, the main point of heading over to T3 was 1) The un-bear-ably cute #Rilakkuma exhibition/pop-up Collab. The rides were mainly for kids (yes good, good, start the love for Rilakkuma by nurturing these younglings), limited edition Rilakkuma premiums (min spending needed) and of cos, photo ops mainly for the kids plus adults at heart who love Rilakkuma like me hahaha!

2) We also visited the T3 Underground Carnival by Uncle Ringo since we were within the vicinity. Cute vibes and all the rides were catered mainly for the kids, though there are some adult funfair games. Once again, there were a few photo ops that we took together and that was fun too.

It was a short meet-up as we parted off once again for our respective itineraries – hers to receive a friend who just arrived, and for us, to get some desserts from Rich & Good Cake Shop & the newly opened Backyard Bakers outlet at Jewel Changi Airport.

The rest of our time was spent with each other over Kobashi donuts, brownies, chips and basically a whole lot of really unhealthy snacking paired with all our anime catch ups and a bit of work in between.

This, was my favourite time of the day 🙂
