Good morning everyone on this lovely Sunday~ It’s a back to back workout day cos my fave bounce studio were offering complimentary classes with a lucky draw element to boot. So naturally tadaah, here I was early in the morning to try my luck & have a spot of fun at the same time.

Although I was abit hesitant about the class cos I barely just recovered fully from last week’s bout of flu/sore throat – but I guess I’m okay now. Also, the back to back classes weren’t too bad cos they were lighter than the usual classes since there were more first timers. However, my thighs and legs were burning by the end of them for sure.

Here’s my reward for making it through the week, and this class – a lunch date with the mister at Chimichanga over at Paya Lebar Quarter!

I’ve always wanted to try Chimichanga for the longest time since I saw their ads for the Chimichanga (a literal dish that has the name name as the restaurant) during the COVID period and so we did.

We shared a loaded nachos with chipotle chicken, an Angus beef Chimichanga and their popular fish tacos (2 pieces to share) and wow this was definitely a super heavy meal that you can only enjoy when you’re hungry like us. The amount of cream and filling on these dishes were oof, but good and I really enjoyed it very much. Will definitely be back here in the future to try their other dishes like the quesadillas, other burgers and more in the future!

More importantly, the price point was fair and sufficient for the quality of food + serving was super fast. Highly recommended!

At the same time, they were also giving out free Starbucks coffee over the weekend at the wasteless cafe pop-up where the mister went ahead to redeem cos.. why not?

Finally, with the rest of the afternoon and evening free up for us = it was a back to back movie/reality show day for us spent together alongside a beautifully plated dinner by his mom.

We are really lucky people to be able to enjoy all of these and being taken care of during this period. Cos we know it wouldn’t be the same in the future so let’s enjoy it to the fullest while we can now!
