Hooray it’s the weekends! And it is a mighty busy day for us this Saturday! We started off with an early lunch (1130am) at Rempapa located at Paya Lebar Quarter.

Reservations recommended though I think it’s ok for walk ins as well as the restaurant wasn’t super crowded for lunch. Ordering is done via the QR code as their main menu can be outdated due to the inclusion of new dishes etc. However do note that the prices are relatively steep so as long as you go with that expectation, it’s okay!

We ordered the singgang, fried chee cheong fun, a nasi lemak with chicken, Hakka fried pork, alongside a pot of tea and this entire meal already cost us $124. Luckily we got the kueh platter for free as the mister had a voucher. Otherwise, oof it would have been more expensive at $140++.

Nonetheless, at least the food was decent, not mind blowing for the price. Personally I also feel that you can find other quality options for the same price. However, at least we ticked this off the to try list and we’re all good! Most importantly, it was with good company, aka family so the amount doesn’t matter as much 🙂

Next up was a blur of different places – to old airport road to buy duck/char Siew / pump petrol / buy paus from Tanjong Rhu Pau and then off we went to my aunt’s place all the way at CCK to visit them with my mom in tow / then back again to Marine Parade area to pick up groceries at NTUC before heading back to my place to do household chores etc. Phew..what a day.

I’m just glad to be able to spend the rest of the evening with the mister at his place curled up on the sofa catching up on our anime/shows/eating/snacking and also getting some of the blog work scheduled.

Time just flies when it’s the weekend and when you’re having a good time!
