Today is a day full of post Valentine’s Day celebrations starting off with a 1 for 1 Burpple lunch treat at Waa Cow from the mister!

We went for their $50++ Burpple deal for 2 where you can get signature truffle sukiyaki bowl, mentaiko scallop as a starter/side and a pint of Asahi beer per person. Note that this set is only available at the Waa Cow outlet at Marina One!

You can also opt to swap out the beer for other non-alcoholic drinks like what we did turning it into sparkling lemonade and grapefruit respectively which goes well paired with our mains and sides!

Personally I think it’s relatively value for money, except I would prefer Tanuki Raw over them as the beef sukiyaki were a tad too chewy for my tastebuds.

Nonetheless thanks to the mister for planning this treat, and even a surprise gift for a special reason 🙂

The day didn’t stop there as our next stop was to Swenson’s where he surprised me with their Valentine’s Day mini ice cream cake with our couple photo imprinted on it! Aww 🙂

A movie, the latest Ant-Man is next on the itinerary and it was surprisingly not too bad even though critic reviews have been rather low. We enjoyed it, plus my popcorn to go along with (of which..I regret the next day…) 🙂

Finally, here’s how we ended off the night – garlic fries and garlic burger for the mister (I stole bites), homemade cream puffs from the misters mom and basically catching up on all our Physical 100 episodes, anime and being productive at the same time doing my thing.

It has been a blessed Sunday indeed 🙂
