TGIT cos it’s one more day to Friday!~
Some light meals once again and I indulged in my fave peanut butter waffle for brekkie this morning. Nothing fancy but I really do like peanut butter alot and this can actually fill me up for the most part of the day!

Not forgetting a dash of fruits cos I’ve a tasting dinner for tonight.

Say hello to dearest Candy, my dinner date for tonight at the newly opened Big Fish Small Fish Cafe at Suntec City. This is located right opposite Starbucks nearer to the GV/Promenade MRT side and pretty easy to spot with their iconic fish logo.
I’m not here for their usual menu however. Instead, we were here to try their newly launched brunch menu that is only available on weekends and public holidays from 10am-1pm!
*Promotion: Order 3 dishes from the brunch menu to get 1 dish free from now till 31st March 2023.
Their range of brunch options are rather pocket-friendly and range between $14.90-$19.40, all below $20 and comes with a complimentary tea/coffee option which makes it a great start to your day!

And what exactly are the options you may ask? Well, they range from an all American style with a Big Fish Small Fish twist to croissants, toasts, pancakes and even sweet & savory options.
In our case, we ordered the cone of fish ($15.90) and the taste of Singapore ($15.90) for sharing between both of us.
The former is essentially your classic fish and chips with a side of coleslaw and we enjoyed this very much. A must order I feel! The portion size is also relatively generous but do try to eat this fast as the fries might get a tad soggy. This also works as a sharing option between large groups as well! I love the dips too including the garlic butter one, yums.

If you like your usual Singaporean brekkie but with a slightly elevated twist, you can opt for the taste of Singapore plate like what we did. It comes served with toasted broiche buns to go with your choice of butter/delicious Kaya, fried chicken luncheon meat, a few prices of kueh bahulu and two beautiful soft boiled eggs to round it up. We enjoyed this alot too and I think that overall, the two dishes will definitely suffice for a nice brunch session out with your friends!
As always, the most important thing is to spend your time with the right company and I’m so glad I had a great one tonight with Candy!
Thanks Big Fish Small Fish Cafe for having us on this day too and do give their brunch menu a try if you’re around the vicinity!
Most importantly, thanks always for reading 🙂
