Happy Sunday everyone! My morning was just filled with getting ready for lunch that afternoon and the week ahead – a light brekkie, my miracle 1 min mask and steaming all my clothes for today and the whole of next week, including my costume for DND :p

Here’s our lunch at Tajimaya Yakiniku located at Great World City. But what the men didn’t know is that this was pre-planned surprise Valentine’s Day treat from the wife and myself to them!

Priced at around $62.99++ per person for a free flow Wagyu meat buffet, alongside other meats, seafood, cooked food, sashimi & sushi, desserts and drinks alike – I think this was a worthy meal for the price!

I was honestly at first a little apprehensive on the service as I read some negative reviews online. However ours went pretty good. The charcoals were refilled, grills changed halfway through the meal and our orders came pretty swiftly, even the repeated orders. They were also relatively generous on the portion size (for certain items), while others, you might need to order a few times.

My recommendation is to order one portion of everything to start off first and work from there because this is afterall, a buffet! Do note that wastage is chargable, so try not to over order!

Also, if you are a new member of the Creative Eateries (we signed up on the spot) – you can get up to $50 welcome vouchers with minimum spending required. Just take note also of the validity period which is Sun-Thurs!

We were lucky to be able to use them to offset a little and that made the meal less pricey.

Another suprise awaited the men after the lunch with our vday gift – a couple outfit for them (it’s kinda a joke, lol) but we hope they like it! Most importantly, it’s always the company above all!

Before bidding our farewells for the evening ahead, we went shopping around Meidi Ya for some ice cream, chocolate milk and bread for the next few days.

It’s now time to grab a salad lunch for the upcoming week, back to the misters place to chill and relax + work.
