Happy Sunday everyone! I’m just glad I’m done with household chores yesterday so this day is mainly dedicated to myself for the first part of the day with my usual workouts, a light brekkie/fruit brunch before heading out that afternoon!

Today’s agenda was to head over to the mister’s friends place for a CNY catch up on this final day of CNY with all his sec school friends and their families. So naturally, there was a lot of food – cai png and zichar food will definitely be the most pocket friendly option for such a big group of us!

Added some homemade sweet potato tangyuan with white fungus and healthy items to the mix to celebrate chap goh mei and we have a really complete meal for the whole group 🙂 Thanks for preparing for everything and hosting us!

Meanwhile, here’s how to be popular with the kids – the answer is simple: bring gifts and be around them like the mister. This bribe works cos as you can tell, he was a kids magnet with all the kids flocking around him and amazingly, he was able to jaga them for more than an hour on his own. Of cos he lost his voice after that from entertaining them but good job!

In case you were wondering where I was.. well, I’m all the way seated together with the rest of the adults at the “adults” table (lol), where proper conversations (though many still related to kids) happen. Of cos they were all keeping an eye out for their kids cos as you know, accidents happen very frequently (kids falling etc, crying) but generally it was all handled pretty well.

Parents would know how hard it is to have the kids behave and arrange themselves in a nice row for photos, but the mister did it and good job! So here are some group photos all around with 11 adults + 7 Kids strong – definitely my biggest group gathering and I’m very thankful/blessed to be part of them 🙂
