Wa, really #HUATAH cos I got the second ingot for the first time in Google Pay today – which I gifted later on to one of the mister’s friend who has been trying to get it for the past few weeks. Good things must share right? :p

Then the usual eats, housework chores and all that + ALOT of chill sessions cos that’s what the weekends are for!

Here we are all prepared to head over to the wife’s place all the way to Woodlands.. thank goodness for a car or else it will be an even longer journey for us! But before that – time to treat them all with my TOTO winnings with char Siew paos for my mom / the mister / her family cos as always .. good things must share! Brought her alot of pork related stuff as well instead bak kwa and this spam snack lol!

Time to eat!! The wife cooked up a huge broth (pre mixed la) topped with plenty of corn and other ingredients for the hotpot base, plus sauces and condiments and so many ingredients that she + her hubs bought with our favourite tastebuds in mind. Thank you for having us over!

It was also our first time eating with her parents who were back in Singapore for the week – definitely an enjoyable way to have a wholesome dinner together:)

And this is also my fave part – mahjong time! Hahahah! They generally play 3 person mahjong over at their place rather than the usual 4 pax, and the gameplay is definitely much faster. I’m still not good at the counting of tiles so I just let them do that while I play how I know how to play hahaa. I’m always glad to be playing with this bunch who are really patient with a fledgling beginner player like me cos I take abit more time to figure out my tiles and also, am still not very sure (sometimes) on how to win hahaa.

Still, considering beginners luck and all that – I still won abit this round wheeee but most importantly.. it was really fun to hang out with these lovely people. Am really blessed to have met her in my office life and now we’re fast friends!
