Good morning! It’s our last day of our genting trip cos time always flies whenever we’re together having loads of fun! With the usual coffee for the mister in the morning, we were packed and checked out to head down to purchase our breakfast (for the next few days) and snacks onboard the long ride home from our favourite bakery 🙂

An early brunch awaited us at 1030am cos we had to catch our coach by 1145am so we went to Taibae, a Taiwanese restaurants for some luroufan, noodles, chicken cutlet and meatballs! The quality wasn’t anything too spectacular but okay la, passable. A carb heavy meal to fill us up before the long trip home 🙂 oh and I enjoyed the soya bean, very nice!

Before heading to the bus station, the mister had to stop for another ice cream, his now favourite creme brulee soft serve from Family Mart. I admit, it’s quite delicious too! The drop off/pick up point is very convenient as well, just look out for the WTS person to get your seats assigned after showing your return ticket etc (if you’re taking WTS) and you’re good to go. The coach ride includes a pit stop (50 mins) at the horse brand souvenir shop so you can stock up on some souvenirs if you’d like before you leave.

Beyond that, the only other stop is at Yong Peng 3 hours later for a 25 min dinner break, before heading over to the Malaysia customs, and then Tuas Checkpoint before the respective stops. Once again, our group was separated cos our drop off was at Bedok vs Causeway Point so we were taking different buses then.
My recommendation is to get the Siew pau from the Ming An Yong Peng stop cos they were pretty good. We also bought a couple more souvenirs here since there was a free gift voucher inclusive, nothing much la..only a packet of biscuits but free stuff, why not?

And then we were back safely home signaling the end of our 3D2N Genting trip 🙁
Grateful for the time spent together and all the fun moments with this group especially being our first time traveling together. I doubt this will be our last (fingers crossed) so expect to see more travel trips like these in the future!
Meanwhile thanks for always taking the time to read this post and stay tuned to more travelogues coming soon cos I’ve got a bunch of travel trips and staycays coming up soon!
