And with that .. our 4D3N Xmas Staycay comes to an end today.

But though it may have ended, the celebration and gifting doesn’t have to end! We ended ours off with another gift exchange and this man of mine presented me with this adorable customized Pikachu necklace in rose gold from Venus Tears. Gorgeous 🙂

And then it was time for us to check out of The Quay Hotel and leave our bags as we went about with the rest of our activities for the day starting off with a hunt for a FedEx drop off box for our CircleDNA parcel delivery. Unfortunately..that search turned futile as we couldn’t find the locker at the designated locations *shakes head.

It’s fine, the FedEx pick up would be more convenient anyways and all that walking around made us super hungry for our lunch date at..

Dumplings Darlings, where advance reservations are highly recommended to get a seat. It’s also a throwback to the solo Christmas staycay I had in 2019 where I tried it for the first time as my first ever solo dining experience in a restaurant!

I ordered the braised pork noodles lunch set with Sichuan dumplings and a Logan osmanthus pu-erh drink, while the Mister had the XO prawn noodles set with the original dumplings and the salt plum wolfberry pu-erh drink.

Overall, a great meal! Standards have not dropped over the years and the taste/flavours are still there with my favourites still being the hearty noodles and the original dumplings! Would be back next time to try their fried pierogi, prawn and crab and smoked duck dumplings! 🙂

Moving on next is a stroll around Clarke Quay Central as we waited for our next appointment at Queen Ginza for a couple massage, part of my monthiversary treat for the Mister!

The massage was great and they even gave us a couple room. Best of all, there was no hard selling at all after the entire session ended. Despite that, service was good 🙂

Our Staycay officially came to an end with a final sweet treat from me to him – ticking off one of his must try = the pistachio ice cream from Dopa Dopa Creamery located a stone’s throw away from our hotel 🙂

It was a grab back home to our respective houses, however, it doesn’t end there of cos hahaha!

DD aka Daphne’s Delivery happened next as I picked up some smelly/fermented tofu (臭豆腐) from Mini Star Fermented Beancurd otw to his place later on for him to try. Pair that with fruits, and we ended off S5 of My Hero Academia before starting the new season of Demon Slayer together.

On the whole, this was definitely a great way to end off the last day of our staycay right!
