weekends with mitsueki healthy 365 free workout

With that, the weekend comes closer and closer to the end and it’s back to work.

You can read my awesome staycation posts here:

BUT before being sad about it, chill bruhhh – you gotta make the best out of it!

Why not try out the free classes offered on the Healthy 365 app? Cos that’s what I did to kick-start my Sunday right! I highly recommend booking the classes way way in advance once slots are open (around 30 days beforehand) as the popular classes get snapped up really fast.

So here I was at Heartbeat@Bedok for my 2 back to back sessions of Cardio Dance at 1030-1130am and then a HIIT class from 1130-1230pm! Tbh, I’m pretty unfamiliar with this area so it took awhile for me to figure out where they were being held and apparently both classes are at the same spot over at the Atrium area (directly outside Kampong Chai Chee CC).

It’s fully sheltered so you don’t have to worry about the weather elements. Quite cooling as well as the ceiling is really high. Tip – Passion card holders can tap their card to get free 7.5 points (per day) at this corner here.

I didn’t have to bring any equipment for the Cardio dance, however I did bring my yoga mat for my HIIT workout later as it’s recommended. Bring a towel, water bottle etc too as these are not provided – and more importantly, have fun!

The mister was feeling a little under the weather yesterday so he joined me only for the HIIT class and we had a good workout today, just in time for a nice hearty lunch at a place I’ve been looking forward to try for a the longest time!

Hello Fried Porridge from Old World Bak Kut Teh! They have expanded from just one outlet at Yishun to a few outlets around Singapore, including one at Bedok at Happy Hawkers.

We shared 1x pork fried porridge, 1x pork ribs bak kut teh, 1x youtiao and 1x veggies for only $15! Super worth it as the portions were big and you can also get unlimited refills on the bak kut teh soup. Yums!

Definitely coming back here for sure! Please do try as well! 🙂

Next up, a movie date at Suntec to watch The Last Duel as it was one of the few screening/movie theatres playing this rather underrated show. Not sure why there’s not much publicity but it was good. Excellent acting by Matt Damon and Adam Driver, we enjoyed it!

Later, we then chillaxed at McDonald’s with the Mister enjoying his McCafe latte and a cheesecake.

Here’s how we ended off our Sunday night = by chilling more, this time at his place watching Gordon Ramsay’s Unchartered / Planet Earth II and some assorted random stuff here including a gift drop from Maryann from The Nom Folks!

Can’t wait to try their hae bee hiam and shallots!
