Yay! It’s the weekends – what we have all been waiting for the entire week! What a lovely short week however!

I started my morning off with having the curry puff from the famous Tai Seng Curry Puff place I bought last night – it would have been much better if I ate it fresh on the spot as the crust was a lil soggy the next.

Recommended to toast it up first in the future! It’s not bad; very chunky and generous fillings as you can tell! Will repurchase if ever I’m in the vicinity for sure!

A quick workout next before packing up a picnic lunch and what a lil feast it was, consisting of my salads paired with my mom’s home cooked prawns, fried chicken, a couple of assorted items and of course, some MSW dessert treats! Yum~

We spent the rest of the day/night hanging out at Jewel Changi Airport with a long bus ride to-and-fro. Spotted a couple of awesome stuff there as well including a Kate Spade wallet and bag that I like!

Sometimes you can also kinda almost pretend you’re in Japan when you’re at Jewel because there are loads of Japanese stores there to check out/meander about/window shop!

If you like wagashi (premium Japanese sweets), be sure to check out K.Minamoto for some lovely ones!

Dinner then ended up to be those sweets, loved the dorayaki and ice cream daifuku (chocolate) and this spring onion pancake with meat filling. Yums and good; and most importantly, always with the right company 🙂

P.s, did you know that today was Qixi Festival aka Chinese Valentine’s Day? Hahaha, we did – and surprised each other with a small gift!

Hehe sometimes it always feels like Christmas came early (yay for wrapped gifts to boot!!), and it’s a nice feeling because gifting/receiving is one of my key love language!
