Don’t you agree that the weekends fly by so fast when you’re having fun; or while having some downtime + R&R?
This Sunday is no different, except that I did set an alarm to remind myself to wake up before 12pm because of something super lame. The besties obviously rolled their eyes laughing themselves to the bank when they heard about it but hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained hehe.
Moving on, here’s lunch before heading out for my back to back spin classes once again at Downtown East!

Oh and I was testing ANOTHER new sports mask from Naroo, this time its a fully covered one that goes around your whole head. I thought it would be really hot; but because it’s made of those breathable/cooling fabric, its actually quite comfortable! You can get it at 10% off from Naroo here using my code “mitsueki10“!

Lucky me managed to get on-board the free shuttle bus to Downtown East when it arrived = quickly hop on it! The waiting time is about 15 mins each interval so grab your chance if you spot it!
And my first spin class of the day begins! Note that I changed out to their free mask instead because I didn’t want to go around with a dirty sweaty sports mask later on.

Had time to kill after while waiting for my next class, time for a walk around Downtown East and E-Hub!
Back for my second dose of spin with an instructor I’ve never tried, Carolyn if I’m not wrong. Her song choices were great and she pushes you abit more so I kinda had more fun in her class. Generally though, most classes follow the same style / workout so you know what to expect. Great for beginners because there are instructors standing around to help you correct your form. 🙂 Also appreciating the free towel and masks, plus all the help setting up the bike etc.

We were blessed with beautiful weather today so I decided to take a stroll from DTE to Pasir Ris MRT instead of hopping onto the free shuttle bus / taking a bus.
No regrets, had the opportunity to pop by Pasir Ris Hawker Centre before their one month cleaning closure to take a look-see at the stalls. I only came here once or twice back last year, but I’ve never eaten here, if I recall right. Perhaps I’ll try next time on my own when dining in is allowed and if I’m in the vicinity!

P.s level 2 is more popular cos they are all the hipster food. Also spotted this new Japanese congee stall and the Taiwanese black pot stall; something I’ve been looking for since they disappeared from the food courts awhile back. So note to self on the latter to come back for this!
I didn’t get anything in the end cos I wanted to support my own hood instead. No hawker food however, it ended up to be Saizeriya with my usual dine-in order; minus the soup hehe.
For $5.80, I’m good! P.s the prawn toppings are from my mom!

Ending off my night with dessert and good conversations.
I’m good 😊
