22/7 Chronicles of a Typical Office Lady in Singapore
Good morning, and here we go again for another long day of work! At least the difference here for today is that I don’t have to wake up at 8am for early morning meetings hahahaha. Instead, my first meeting is at 1030am, acceptable and comfortable!
But first – soy bean milk, this time from Lao Ban not Mr Bean, thanks to Bear’s dad as always! :p
Bear’s mom also had quite a number of egg tarts leftover so this is Batch #3 where I managed to try it freshly baked where it was still warm and you know what? It just keeps improving every batch = nicer and nicer!
Best thing to eat during a morning meeting paired with soy bean milk for sure! ☺️
P.s, if she started selling them – would you purchase? :p
Next up was a long long meeting from 1-630pm and I find myself really blessed to be able to hitch a ride to my office (esp with the heavy downpour!) thanks to Bear’s dad that afternoon. Sometimes I wonder if this is what it’s like to have a dad, or Father figure in life? It’s something I’ve never had the experience before till now.
Meeting preps coupled with a light salad lunch prepped by Bear’s mom (thank you 🙏) and we were ready to roll!
Gotta say that I was quite exhausted by the end of the day. Was really drained and wondered if I might be falling sick?
Luckily, what cheered me up later on was meeting Bear at the train station as we both proceeded back to his place for a final dinner before I headed home. No more heading to office/others for the rest of the week for now (thank goodness!).
Steamboat dinner ☺️
Thankful to this annoying person who can sometimes make me smile with his ridiculous antics; a side he rarely shows to the public 🙂
Thank you for making me smile 🙂
Ending the night off super early with this packet of cream crackers (my new favourite indulgence!) AND a really early night turning in at 11pm cos I was super exhausted.
On a random note – gotta say that things are definitely about to change and I’m not sure if I’m liking it. Growth perhaps and maybe I’m still being stubborn but I’m honestly not sure of the shift. The only thing I can say for now is.. – let’s see how it goes.
P.s today’s numbers: 310 new, 6 imported, 7 community and 211 discharge cases.
