27/4 Chronicles of a Typical Office Lady in Singapore

This week’s posts should be relatively shorter compared to the others cos its a really busy one for me at work!

If I have to sum it up in 3 words.. it will probably be boom boom BOOM! 🤣🤣

Nonetheless, my Monday started off real nice – dreary, gloomy, cold and rainy, THE perfect day to sleep in if you could.

But nope, it’s a Monday afterall!

At least the biggest perk about working from home is = being able to work from the comfort of your bed without leaving home, getting drenched or heading to work with soggy shoes 🙁

Happy as well to be able to indulge in a pipping hot broth of peppery bak kut teh soup later for lunch during this cooling weather.

Ah~ The perks of working from home.

I also headed out after work for a quick walk and some supermarket browsing becos cooping up at home too often can be a little unhealthy.

Needlessly to say that retail therapy shopping is fun and takes the edge off stress at work too hehe.

Not forgetting my escape into my Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp World as my other de-stress option and my only way to socially interact and have social gatherings during this circuit breaker period virtually, LOL.

And I managed to hit level 40 today ~ woohoo~

Okay thats sad, but don’t worry, I do socially interact with my real life friends and Bear in reality as well LOL. Plus my colleagues on a day to day basis too~

Of cos, I do miss all the real life interaction with everyone, but we all know this can’t be done until the virus situation improves for the sake of our health and everyone.

So let’s just continue staying strong during this period.

Meanwhile, in today’s numbers – 799 new cases, 18 community cases and unfortunately, 2 fatalities (RIP).
