The Day Where We Pretty Much Slept The Entire Day at Home – 29 March 2020

If Saturday was a pretty happening day where we hit up quite a few local attractions to celebrate our monthiversary day, read:

Sunday on the other hand was pretty much a stay at home and sleep day for the most part.

What’s for sure is that we’re not flouting any stay at home notices by heading out to eat bak kut teh like what this guy did (and probably got charged as a result).

Lucky for us, Bear’s mom whipped up a bak kut teh feast for all of us to enjoy at home.

What a luxury and blessing to be able to enjoy such good food at home 🙏

This was later followed on by a big ol’ cup of Vitamin C aka blended orange juice for us to enjoy as we build up our immunity system.

For the rest of the day, we were pretty much just nua-ing in the comfort of the bedroom and scrolling our respective social feeds to entertain ourselves mindlessly and taking naps/dozing off in the mid afternoon heat. How utterly unproductive lol.

Bear being Bear as always, couldn’t take being confined at home all the way and was itching to get out..even just for an hour or so.

This became a short drive over to Punggol Point where we enjoyed a nice leisurely pre-dinner walk with a coastal view and the cooling sea breeze ruffling our hair.

We also spotted a tortoise pool here.

And an ice cream uncle.

Of course we couldn’t resist and went ahead with getting ourselves a classic sliced ice cream wrapped with the old school bread – a childhood favourite:)

The views were great and so was the company 🙂 A perfect way to end off my Sunday right before another week of working from home begins again.

What was unexpected on this day was HOW MUCH we slept – not sure if it was out of boredom or we just couldn’t resist the lure of the comfy bed.. but let’s say that we totally crashed and slept in through the night and I ended up staying overnight (unexpectedly) at his place once again 😅 #whattheheck

Luckily though, I’m working from home so all is good.

Meanwhile, have you ever experienced days like these as well where you pretty much sleep in almost the entire day like we did? Or are we just the outlier in this case? 😂😂
