Saturdays Be Like – Bouncefit Classes x Art Jamming x Dinner at Took Lae Dee @ 18 Tai Seng – 5 Jan 2019

So yeah, if you’ve been following me on my blog or my socials – you would have known that I signed up for BounceFit classes this month after going for my trial class ($18) and this first Saturday of 2019 was my FIRST official BounceFit class I guess.

Not gonna be easy to squeeze in 5 classes (including the free class that I won in the lucky dip) within less than 1 month while juggling my existing jobs / ventures and ongoing workload but you know what – just book all the slots and GO for it.

But first – brekkie in the morning 😊

Realized that there are so many people alive and active on this Saturday morning while I was making my way to the studio. My guess these are the usual office crowd / ft working adults as well cos that’s the only free time available we have on the weekends. Well, I’m part of that crowd too – for now that is :p

It was a different instructor this time round, Queenie if I’m not wrong and yeahh it was an AWESOME workout!

I’m still very new at this BounceFit thing so I can’t fully 100% keep up with the class but I guess all that matters is .. you try to and give your best. That is more than enough for me 🙂

And boy will you SWEAT it out! I look as if I just went for a shower or something LOL. Filtered photo la cos I look worst in rl if you see me hahahahaha 😂😂

Oh yeah and random thoughts for the day 🙂

Quick lunch, a shower and of cos – not forgetting to apply my Beijing 101 hair treatment!

And then I was OFF to my next stop after that! Didn’t want to be too late so I booked a Hitch then, and for $5, worth the ride la 😂🤭

Enjoyed a really fun afternoon/evening art jamming session at The Noteway Art Studio with the dear bestie aka Crystal!

It’s an upcoming blog collaboration with them so stay tuned to a more detailed review coming up soon 😉

Here are some sneak peeks though hehe.

But of cos – if you watch my IG stories, you would have already seen my finalized artwork cos I always post my live updates there! See? This is why you should be following my Instagram @mitsueki if you’re not already!:)

Huge thanks to The Noteway Art Studio for having Crystal and myself! 🙂

18 Tai Seng was just nearby so we headed there for dinner right after! I read online about a famous Thai restaurant called Took Lae Dee (a very popular restaurant from Thailand) so that was our dinner place for the night 🙂

Here’s the menu for your reference – all nett pricing!

And because there is no service charge, everything is self service here ya?

We ordered two plates of their basil pork rice and topped up for an egg (pad krapow) each and shared a tom yum chicken soup and kailan.

Wouldn’t recommend topping up for the fried egg cos it was the over fried kind – disappointing. But their basil pork rice was really good!

Actually everything was very good and tasted super authentic. I enjoyed my meal, except that we were chased out exactly at 9pm (we were there at 830pm) so that marred the experience a little.

Would still return again for the food if I’m around the vicinity.

Damage to the pocket = $11.40 for this meal! Not too shabby 🙂

Everything else was closing pretty early and we wanted to hang/chill for abit more so we trained down closer to my place to hang at one our usual haunts – The Tuckshop at Guillemard!

Yeah ikr, I’m going to a drinking spot and I brought my own water. Cafe and restaurant owners hate people like me leeching on 🙁

But we did order a plate of truffle fries to share la. It’s one of my fave places to have truffle fries actually. Very generous serving portions for $12, crispy fries, plenty of cheese, actual truffle slices and a very addictive dipping sauce to go along with it.

We POLISHED it off. Yeah everything. It was good. I loved it 🙂

However, to me – what was even better was the opportunity to spend my day with my bestie (albeit half the day) on a 1 on 1 basis to catch-up and generally have a WONDERFUL girls day out on this first Saturday of 2019!

I’m really happy 🙂 Thanks for your time bestie 🙆🙆

P.s this too, also made my day when I received the email that night. I’m really deeply appreciative for their kind words and blessed to have such wonderful clients! 🙏🙏
