Thursday was a great day! Met my bestie at Raffles Place for lunch and boy, I didn’t expect to be back there again so soon!(: Even made an effort and wore shoes whahahaha!
Lunch was at Foodfare over at Clifford Centre and I decided to try Noodle & Rice Bowl because it was the most interesting stall out of the rest. The rest were the usual hawker food which you can find everywhere.
Paid $6.90 for the eel and onsen egg combo but topped up $2 for the chicken roulade! Quite worth it if you think about it. Been treating myself more recently also(: Really happy too to catch up with her one on one – I thrive on the meet ups with my favourite people!
Chilled out at Raffles area for abit before heading off to my next destination – to pick up the newly launched Choco Nana cake flavor ($11) from Ah Mah Homemade Cake at Plaza Singapura!
Pit stop to drop off a dress at Refash since I was along the way!
And then I was back to my ex office once again to meet my usual office kakis and share the joy of the cake with them (and my EO team too)! Always a pleasure to meet up with them and the choco Nana flavor cake was really not bad!(:
Even met my other colleagues/lecturer along the way and we took a selfie together too. Heh I do miss my office life a little in a sense, doesn’t feel like much has changed to be honest (:
Also popped by my fave Buzz outlet to stock up on some of my fave (and cheap) snacks wahahha.
That night I decided to take a walk too. It’s been a while but I think it’s really good to be take this opportunity to disconnect with the world and focus on the moment!(:
But you know what made my day though? Chatting with the usual Tanjong Rhu pau Auntie and Uncle after that! It’s amazing how we can just be friends like this and they are always so generous to gift me with paus and such many times and of cos, check up on me. Really too nice I’m really grateful! 😭🙏
