I grew up watching SK-II commercials on television featuring their miracle pitera water and have always wanted to try out their products for myself! And guess what? I finally have had the opportunity to do so recently! Having said that – I can’t wait to share my review and personal opinion of what I thought of the Genoptics Aura Essence which SK-II has kindly sent to me! Read on for more!(:

SK-II Genoptics Aura Essence – BEFORE & AFTER

Now if you have been a long time reader of my blog, you would know that I usually start off my beauty reviews with an introduction of the product, how to use it, etc before showing you the before and after photos (if any).

But this time, I’m SO excited to share with you the results of my first time usage of the Genoptics Aura Essence that I’m showing you the BEFORE AND AFTER photo of my skin first to show you how well it worked for me! Note that these photos were taken over a period of five days!

As you can tell from the before and after picture above, my skin complexion is definitely more radiant and glowy on the right compared to a more dull complexion on the left even though I only used it for a short period of time! This in turn makes me feel even more confident to go out without applying any makeup (on the rare occasions that I don’t).

Indeed, I am attributing a step up in my confidence level to the miraculous power of using the best SK-II whitening serum – the Genoptics Aura Essence!

You know, it is true that UV exposure will damage our skin which is why as we age, we seem to be losing our ‘radiance’ and develop age spots according to research done by SK-II! This is why it is good to start applying a skincare product like the SK-II GenOptics to help maintain and revitalize our radiant look while preventing potential spots from developing especially when you are still in your 20s!

Having said that – I am definitely going to be religiously applying it from now on! How to use SK-II Genoptics Aura Essence?

You must be wondering how I incorporated the Genoptics Aura essence into my skincare routine right? Well, the steps are really simple to follow as below:

1. Apply toner on your skin after cleansing!
2. Then apply the SK-II GenOptics Aura Essence!

I usually do this at night before I go to bed because I like to wake up with good skin to start off my day!

Now in case you were wondering if you should use the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence before or after toner (if you are an existing user) – it should be after the toner and BEFORE applying the GenOptics Aura Essence.

Don’t underestimate the size and quantity of this product as a single pump of the GenOptics Aura Essence is definitely enough to cover your ENTIRE face! The scent is also very pleasant and it absorbs into my skin pretty easily.

On that note, I also have to say that the packaging of the SK-II GenOptics Aura Essence is absolutely gorgeous! The first time I held it in my hands, I was admiring the iridescent sheen of the product packaging which made me really psyched to use it!

In case you have any concerns about any SK-II essence side effects – nope, I had none. In fact, the GenOptics Aura Essence is suitable for ALL skin types including combination and slightly sensitive skin like mine!

However, indeed there have indeed been a small percentage of users (with normal and sensitive skin types) which have experienced side effects on their skin due to the natural ingredients contained within this essence. As such, it is recommended to consult your dermatologist or use a skin patch test first before using this product if you are worried beforehand ya?

Conclusion

All in all, I can officially proclaim that I am a SK-II convert after using my first SK-II brightening product to start off first! Personally, I feel that investing in top notch, quality skincare is really essential for women especially as we age because we all want to maintain and retain our youthful looks over the years!
