The first thing to settle once we stepped off the plane from Singapore would be to have lunch! Shortlisted a few eating places at PIK (Pantai Indah Kapuk) located a short distance away from the airport.

After driving around the rows and rows of cafes and restaurants available at PIK, we decided to lunch at Little Ubud to try their bebek goreng! Another alternative is HolyDuck located around the same area!

For your reference, here’s the full menu available. The language is in Bahasa but luckily we had a local (Steffi!) who was able to translate what was on the menu!(:

The Food & Drinks

And food was served and we shared all of them!

Bebek Goreng

First up is the bebek goreng (fried duck) served with spicy chilli, a must try food when you are in Indonesia! It’s a pity that the bebek goreng at Little Ubud was not the best that can be found in Jakarta but it was passable. Don’t bother with utensils when eating the duck, it’s better eaten using your hands(:

Nasi Ulam Ubud

No idea what it was but Wx wanted to try, the portion was small and I preferred the other dishes over it.

Mie Ayam Jamur

All of us enjoyed the mie ayam jamur best! Basically its an Indonesian chicken mushroom noodle, similar to the noodles we tried at Bakmi GM on our last day. The noodles here were good though and this was gone within minutes!

Lunch for 4 as we were planning to fill our bellies with food the entire day!

The total bill for the 3 main dishes and 4 drinks came up to 190,300 rupiah (approx S$20) for this meal which was relatively cheap!(:
