3D2N Kuala Lumpur Travelogue

Petronas Twin Towers

With plenty of time to kill after that, we walked back to KLCC and took the typical touristy photos in front of the Petronas Twin Towers.

Went back into KLCC, walked past an Auntie Anne’s and was marveling over the long queues for the pretzels. Yeah there are practically no queues for Auntie Anne’s here in Singapore uhh..

Exploring Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur

Explored the rest of the malls at the Bukit Bintang area for the rest of the day and one of the malls we checked out was Fahrenheit 88.

Fahrenheit 88

Think the theme for the mall is predominantly Japanese with a huge UNIQLO occupying almost 3 levels, Japanese style fashion boutiques and a dedicated Shibuya style shopping area called Parkamaya パラカマヤ. I was already spoilt by the cheap shopping at Berjaya Times Square (BTS) so nothing appealed to me there unfortunately as prices were significantly higher.

Lot 10 Hutong

Moved on to Lot 10, famous for Lot 10 Hutong – a curated food hall of famous food stalls from all around KL and endorsed by Hong Kong celebrity food critic, Chua Lam. Lot 10 Hutong is the pioneer food hall and there are plenty of spin offs all around, for example Taste Enclave at Avenue K that I had lunch at. I was supposed to have one of my meals here but didn’t get the opportunity to due to schedule conflicts :(

With over 25 stalls to choose from, you will definitely be spoilt for choice. Of course you won’t get the 100% authentic taste and experience which will you can only get at their physical shop front but at least you will be dining in air conditioned comfort and at a very convenient place where you can try out many stalls at a go! The only issue here will be the huge crowd though as the location of Lot 10 Hutong is super prime at the Golden Triangle. Pity we were too full at that point of time to try anything but we will probably be back next time!

Snapped some photos around the Lot 10 Hutong food hall for your reference below. You can also read up on the recommended dishes/stalls from OpenRice here!

Note: Lot 10 Hutong is not Halal!
