Style Bliss (Apparels) x mitsueki

It’s been a really long time since I posted a fashion/blogshop review right? Well, that’s because I gained so much weight till I ballooned to 57kg this year from 54kg last year so I didn’t really want to post full length photos of myself! ><

That’s okay though because thanks to my slimming sponsor, Han Dian TCM, I’ve managed to shed off a considerable amount of weight and that’s great to boost my confidence and of course, look much better! Still not as slim as most girls though but I’m working to lose off that weight! You can read about my slimming journey HERE!

Okay, and enough blabbering and back to the topic! One of lovely owners of an online store, Style Bliss was kind enough to sponsor me 2 dresses of my choice from her store and I was really spoilt for choice!

The Apparels

The dress sponsorship came right before I left for my Japan trip so we had made urgent arrangements to meet up to collect the dresses. In fact, I got hold of these dresses a couple of hours before my flight and stuffed them into my luggage at the last minute – thanks to the bf for helping me to collect them! Also a big thanks to the owners for helping me to ensure that there were no creases on the dresses as requested so that I was able to wear them immediately during my trip!(:

Long Sleeve Black Dress with Flower Petals

Here’s the first dress that I selected! I always have the preference for long sleeve dresses to conceal my flabby arms (hurhurhur) and the color black – and the dress was perfect in that way. The quality is excellent with the skirt being double lined and it’s really flattering for the figure. For some reason, I was also reminded of Lolitas because of the whole design of the dress from it’s unique high waist (slightly!) neckline and pretty detailing at the bottom.

That’s why I chose to wear it on the day that we went to Harajuku on Day 2 of my trip (stay tuned for the travelogue!) – pictures below taken at my hotel room, at the entrance of Meiji Jingu Shrine at Harajuku and next to Hachiko Statue at Shibuya paired with my favourite necklace, The Prancing Floral Deer from GlamPuss.

Red Background White Polka Dot Off Shoulder Dress

The second dress that I selected is something rather different from my usual style of dressing. Mainly because of the color as I usually have the preference of darker colors if you haven’t realized! This time I chose a rather vibrant color, red and surprisingly; I think that I managed to pull it off, I think. Lol. It’s a rather pretty dress with a mixture of polka dot and gingham prints meant to be worn off shoulders so it’s like a cold shoulder dress – a style that I am quite fond off now because it too can hide flabby arms.

Wore this dress during my sponsored half day trip from Triplelights with Yuriko as our lovely guide. Pictured below are photos taken when we visited Tokyo Tower and Ryogoku during the tour, in our hotel as well as H&M in Odaiba at the end of the day. Have to say that a big regret was not bringing my belt along during the trip as it would be more flattering to the figure (refer below!) but it was still good!

Of course, I didn’t just wear the dresses in Japan but when I came back – there were plenty of opportunities to wear them to work as the dresses were good for both work and play! Here’s my office #OOTDs on two separate occasions!(:

Although the 2 dresses above are already sold out on the Style Bliss website, there are plenty of other apparel choices for your selection at Style Bliss either online on their website or MIYOC or at their retail racks at various locations in Singapore. The quality for the price is worth it in my opinion and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you shopping at Style Bliss!(:

To end off, Style Bliss is holding a Facebook contest where you have the opportunity to win a $30 Swensons vouchers. Details are as below if you’re interested to join!

Meanwhile, have fun shopping at Style Bliss!(:
