This year, Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore is back again with the Wish Dish campaign where charity can be done just by dining at one of the participating restaurants in town!
Participating restaurants will donate 50 per cent of the proceeds from the sale of their selected Wish Dish during the month of October to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore.
This year, the target is to raise at least S$100,000; which should go far in making the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions come true.

The Wish Dish: District 10 Bar & Restaurant
It was a privilege to be invited down to one of the participating restaurants – District 10 Bar & Restaurant to sample their Make-A-Wish Foundation Wish Dish, so I would like to give my thanks to the lovely people at 8 Days Eat for making this happen!(:

District 10 Bar & Restaurant is a lovely place located at UE Square with a open concept bar on the outside and a cosy indoor section with a relaxed ambience.
Along with Shauna from 8 Days Eat as well as 2 lovely ladies, Jane & Pearlly, we were able to sample the wish dish from District 10 Bar Restaurant as below:
Homemade Foie Gras Ravioli – S$34.00
The homemade foie gras ravioli is served in a light parmesan sauce and topped with scamorza cheese. To me, every bite was a sin – literally as the ravioli was just decadent and I savored every morsel! Delicious, and I would say that the price is worth every bite 🙂
Don’t forget that 50% of the proceeds from the sale of this Homemade Foie Gras Ravioli will be donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant the wishes of children diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses.
Other than the wish dish of the Foie Gras Ravioli, we also enjoyed the following sides and drinks as accompaniment thanks to the generosity of District 10 Bar & Restaurant:
Bread with walnuts, sundried tomatoes & feta cheese accompanied with a dip of black olive with anchovies and olive oil
The sun dried tomato crusted bread was just beautiful and the crust cracked open to reveal the generous amount of feta cheese hidden inside. I didn’t try the dip but based on feedback, everyone seemed to like it.
D10 Punch
A huge jar of alcoholic punch with moscato, ginger ale and generous servings of berries and green apple. Lovely to share amongst us four and it won us over with the taste(:
