TV staffer makes hilarious walk-on appearance during live news segment
During a live news broadcast on Monday, September 9, a member of Japan’s NHK news team nonchalantly walked into shot, clearly oblivious to the fact that an interview was in progress. To make matters worse (read: even more hilarious), upon realising she was being watched by millions of viewers expecting to hear about Tokyo’s plans for the Olympic Games, the staff member turned to the camera with a look that can only be described as one of sheer awkward terror, before scurrying off with her hand over her mouth.
Naturally, this young woman instantly became a minor internet celebrity, and GIFs and videos of the blunder appeared online barely minutes later.
Tokyo winning the bid to host the 2020 Olympic Games is indeed awesome, but this look is nothing short of priceless.
