If you go to work or school in the morning, it probably rained at your side right? For my side at the East, it started raining when I was walking to the bus stop. Like 10 steps before I reached, “BOOM” super heavy rain! Bahhh I hate it when it rains after I leave home cos my flats will be gross and soggy ><
Anyway, so I didn’t expect it to be that bad, but check out this article on STOMP:
Flash floods hit parts of S’pore and leave traffic stuck for 30 minutes
STOMPers encountered flash floods in parts of Singapore this morning (Sep 5), such as the Ayer Rajah Expressway and Clementi, which caused traffic jams lasting for more than half an hour.
According to a Straits Times report, a tree fell on two cars, causing massive traffic jam along Dunearn Road.
These areas reported high flood risk: Pandan Kechil, Sime Darby Centre, Sunset, Alexandra Canal near Zion Road, Commonwealth Avenue/Commonwealth Drive, and Indus Road/Ganges Avenue. Flash floods also occurred at Alexandra Road, near the junction of Delta Road, and Commonwealth Avenue/Commonwealth Drive, near Commonwealth MRT station.

Looks pretty bad to me! Still drizzling on my side here, but luckily no floods. Anyway, hope that it’ll subside!
