Boy, 3, left bleeding after monkey attack at Changi Village playground
A three-year-old boy was reportedly attacked and left bleeding from wounds on his back by a monkey at a playground near Changi Village on July 24.
According to a report in Wanbao and Omy.sg, the boy and his younger sister, aged two, had been playing at the playground at about 6pm when the attack occurred.
Mr Zhang, the siblings’ 35-year-old father, said that his wife had brought the children to the playground to play that evening. A monkey suddenly climbed down from a tree and grabbed at his son, leaving him bleeding from four cuts on his back.
The boy had been so scared that he had turned pale and began crying. He has also had nightmares following the incident, according to his family.
