A 80 yr old mum passed away in the hospital yesterday afternoon while the daughter, suspected to be sad and feeling guilty, jumped to her death 2 hours later.

The incident happened at 6pm at Bishan street 22 Blk 256. The 47-yr old victim, who is still single, jumped from her 9th storey flat and died on the spot. Her 80 yr old mum died in Mt Elizabeth Hospital at 4pm after suffering from throat cancer.

The family found the suicide note from the daughter: She is weak and sickly and requires her father to support her in order to move around. She wants to keep her mom company – 1 funeral 2 coffins.

碧山组屋区家庭悲剧，母女相隔2小时死亡，80岁老母昨午医院病逝，47岁女儿疑伤心内疚，2小时后在住家坠楼。

昨天下午6时，碧山22街第256座组屋发生坠楼案，单身中年女子何凯欣（译音）疑从9楼住家坠下，当场身亡。晚报进一步探知，中年妇的80岁母亲罹患喉癌，昨午4时在伊丽莎白医院病逝。消息说，女儿疑伤心内疚，2小时后做出傻事。
